Sign Production / Installation Specialist Qualifications
Spotlight-Strategies is seeking to fill a full-time position. The position includes sign production and installation (in-house & off-site) and cross training in our other service divisions as needed. Candidate must have excellent organizational, communication & customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time is a must. Prior experience in the sign industry is mandatory. Sign assembly includes but is not limited to preparing substrates, applying vinyl, mounting and/or laminating inkjet prints. Signs graphics are installed on vehicles (standard and commercial), windows, monuments, walls and in the ground.
Mandatory Sign Technical Specifications
- Machine operator (direct to substrate, plotter, latex & laminator, etc..)
- Knowledge and proficiency in sign production, install, assembly, substrates and equipment (including
vehicle graphics and wraps) - Aptitude with machinery operation and assembly (sign and print)
- Attention to detail (i.e. colors, typos, quality issues)
- Ability to work in a fast pace, deadline driven environment
- Ability to calculate measurements is critical
- Graphic & sign software knowledge
- Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record (insurable on company policy)
Physical Requirements
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Able to use assorted hand & power tools with confidence (auger, table saw)
- Comfortable working at heights on ladder
Software Requirements
- Adobe Illustrator / Flexi / Photoshop
- Ability to learn Industry-specific workflow software
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook)
- Windows Platform
