Across the country, many schools and school districts have opted to institute school uniforms for their students in Pre-K through 12th grade. Consider these benefits of school uniforms as you give thought to whether uniforms are a good solution for your student body.
- Equality: Some students go home to mansions, while others go home to meager living conditions. Uniforms create a reality where children are not judged by their socio-economic status, appearances, or possessions. This facilitates more attention spent on ensuring the academic, socio-emotional, and physical needs of every student are met.
- School spirit/school identity: Much like in the workforce, uniforms help students feel united and strengthen school spirit. From brandishing school colors to displaying school mascots, uniforms can help students feel accepted and proud of their school.
- Security: Uniforms help keep school campuses secure. Should an intruder enter a school campus, their apparel would stand out against students’ uniforms and communicates that this person is a stranger and possible threat. Additionally, school personnel such as security guards or student resource officers can also wear uniform shirts or IDs to assist students in knowing which adults to speak to should they need help.
The maximum logo area for an embroidered chest logo is 4 x 4. Very small text does not embroider clearly, so we will offer alternatives for you. The maximum print area for Tshirts is 12 x 13. We will adjust your logo to an appropriate size and show it to you for your approval.
The charge to digitize your logo (if you don’t already have a dst file) for your 1st order is $50 for most files.
Typically $5.00 per logo/item. Factors that can alter this are larger quantity orders, multiple logos on each garment, and very large logos. We will confirm pricing with you when we have the specifications of your order.

There are several advantages to having uniforms at work. Consider the advantages outlined below to determine if uniforms are right for your business.
- Professionalism: Uniforms create a unified look and help businesses portray credibility. The first thing we notice about a person is their attire. Uniforms make a company appear well-organized and attentive to detail. They also make it easy for customers to identify members of your team, improving their customer experience.
- Brand Ambassadors that Offer Free Advertising: When your employees wear your company uniform, they are brand ambassadors for your business which makes company uniforms an easy way to extend brand awareness. There’s no better way to advertise your company!
- Ease: Company uniforms make it easy for employees to get ready for work and they will not have to spend extra money on work attire. Additionally, employers do not have to worry about addressing workplace attire concerns.
Companies large and small and in countless industries have had to consider uniforms for their employees at one point or another. For most businesses that have given it some thought, it becomes an easy decision as the reasons for company uniforms are hard to argue against.
- Safety: Whether your employees work indoors or outdoors, uniforms are more than just advertising and appearance, and they can keep your employees safe. Employees who work alongside the road need high visibility attire to keep them from getting hit by cars. In restaurants, aprons and other uniform pieces can be distinguished by individual food stations or areas within the restaurant to prevent cross-contamination. Even something as simple as providing your employees with short sleeve tops can prevent clothing from getting caught in equipment.
- Brand awareness: Businesses invest a great deal in their storefronts to ensure that the environment communicates one cohesive brand identity. When employees wear clothing that does not match or does not fit that brand identity, it can take away from that cohesion.
- Improves Customer Service and Employee Performance: By asking employees to wear a company uniform, you do not just maintain consistency with your brand, you also help employees feel like a part of your business. When employees feel like they are a part of your business, they are more likely to perform better. Better employee performance is always a benefit.
